From Concept to Commitment. The HEART Story.

Built on Passion and Purpose

Since 2016, Health Equity and Recovery Technologies LLC (HEART) has been on a mission to make navigating behavioral health care easier for everyone. It all started with a group of social workers who saw an expansive need to connect the dots in behavioral health care—and decided to do something about it. At HEART, we’re here to make sure no one gets left behind when they’re seeking support. That means teaming up with local agencies, community leaders, and other care providers to ensure every step of the journey feels connected and supported.

Sobriety is Personal for Us

Sobriety isn’t just a value we believe in—it’s a journey we live. Together, our clinicians bring over 60 years of combined sobriety to the table. Having walked the recovery road themselves, they know the ups and downs firsthand. That experience fuels everything we do, from understanding the hurdles of recovery to celebrating its incredible triumphs.

For our team of clinicians, recovery isn’t just about treatment; it’s about building a life you’re proud of. That’s why our team is dedicated to supporting you at every stage of your journey, with insights, tools, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. At HEART, you’re not just a client—you’re part of a community that truly gets it and is committed to walking beside you.

Our Holistic Approach to Wellness

For Clinicians

HEART is licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Licensing And Regulatory Affairs to provide outpatient substance use services. We have been providing mental health and substance use services since 2016. Our clinical programming expanded to offer ASAM level 2.1- Intensive Outpatient in early 2023. Additionally, we have expanded to offer Sub-Acute Ambulatory Withdrawal Management in conjunction with consulting ASAM approved Physicians.

The organization's leadership team is composed of individuals with previous experience in direct service delivery and administrative support for several organizations across Michigan’s ten regional Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans.

HEART has several private/third party payor contracts, and experience with behavioral health care accreditation bodies (CARF/Joint Commission), including contract auditing and the submission of corrective action plans.

We believe care should be as unique as the people we serve. That’s why we’ve brought together innovative tools and compassionate services to create a truly comprehensive approach. From telehealth and peer-led support to treatment services and case management, we make sure you have the resources you need, when you need them. And by blending these services with clinical treatment and recovery housing, we’re here to help you and your loved ones move forward with confidence.
